My Top 3 Face Sheet Masks!!

Lately, face masks have been trending in the beauty world, and I’ve been super obsessed with them. I tried it once and I’m HOOKED!! Simply because they are a whole lot easier to manage in terms of application and removal. After trying many different types, I’ve shortlisted the ones I have tried and tested and can vouch for.

♦ BioAqua Eggs Face Mask
While growing up, I have always heard my mother saying how great eggs are for the hair and skin but when I would get approached by her to put some in my hair, I would run the opposite direction. Total “ewwww” moment. The thought of egg on my hair and not in my mouth, ugh!

What was appealing about this sheet mask was its key ingredient, which is, egg protein, which works towards hydrating, brightening and oil control of the skin. It is also supposed to reduce fine lines and large pores.

What this mask actually did for me?
It moisturized and tightened my skin, leaving it softer. I didn’t notice the fine lines and large pores reduction as I believe one should use it consistently to see a change.

Where I bought it from? I had purchased these through Ali Express (price range between $0.50 – $1.22 per sheet mask)

Sephora Green Tea Face Mask
A definite must-have or a must-try, in some cases. I do wish this came in a jar/tub because this face mask is just amazing. Green tea has been used as a medicine for thousands of years, from lowering blood pressure to preventing cancer. We can only imagine what wonders it can do for our skin. This mask is known for mattifying and anti-blemish-ing the skin.

What this mask actually did for me?
Just 15 minutes of this wonder mask, and it reduced the redness on my skin. More importantly, I didn’t break out at all *knock on wood* and after rubbing the leftover residue onto my skin, it didn’t feel sticky like most other masks.

Where I bought it from?
Sephora
(priced at AED15 per sheet mask)

♦ Rose Blossom by JayJun Cosmetics
Firstly, the packaging is so pretty. This pretty sheet mask is infused with rose water and the fragrance is not too over overpowering, just a nice subtle smell of rose. It’s no brainer why I picked out this one.

What this mask actually did for me?
The rose water helped my skin to look smooth and bright and leaving my skin looking refreshed. It’s definitely a go-to mask for your tired looking skin after a long day.

Where I bought it from?
Global Village
(priced at AED14 per sheet mask)
PS. Anyone know if this is available anywhere in Dubai?!?

Until next time,
xoxo

    1. Once you try, I’d love to know what you think! I’m sure it will help you with your problem. It’s keeps your skin calm throughout and after!

  2. Hey 🙂
    Thank you for this post!
I got hooked after travelling to China and South Korea, where face masks are huuuuge! ^^
I would usually got MG (Chinese brand that I trusted, my favorite masks were green tea, aqua-something, and rice) or some Korean brands (such as Tony Moly, though not my favorite, or Innisfree -big big love).
However, I’ve almost stop using them when leaving China, because masks are sooo pricy in Europe; especially at Sephora (the Tony Molly! At least 10 times what I used to pay for them…).
I will maybe give a try to the Sephora’s, after reading your review 🙂
